Carmilla Hyde
Dark Mirror Pictures’ first feature film Carmilla Hyde is due for release in 2009.
To assist with online promotions, this design for the site is inspired by the film’s key iconic photography, including picking up the film’s dark tone and characteristic style, with the site featuring an integration of static web content with dynamic Flash content including the film’s theatrical trailer and navigation system.
Current developments for the Carmilla Hyde website include integration with a Flickr gallery of stills from the film, and creation of an online community using a discussion forum.
To initiate the online community and promote sharing of links, a simple sharing feature has been added to key components of the site to enable users to post links to their favourite social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.
