The Engineering Surveys Pty. Ltd. site features a huge range of highly specialised and customised features, ensuring that the Engineering Surveys team have both a stunning webiste, and a fully functional company extranet.
This site features some pretty cool integration between the backend database and the front-end web pages. Powered by a custom-written content management system, the Engineering Surveys team are able to log in and customise site content, including changing the Flash animation text on the left of the site, updating the News Feed, changing page content (including Search Engine Optimisation assistance) and all of these changes in turn keep the Flash drop-down menu system up to date.
The team are also able to select a different header and footer banner for each page to help customise each page. mjf multimedia have even given them the option to select more than one banner for each page, meaning that a random banner from their selection will be chosen for the page, randomised each time the page is loaded.
The Engineering Surveys team can also make full use of the Extranet feature built into the site, enabling the team to collaboratively work on and share documents, keep an eye on company news, check the weather and of course, see who has a birthday coming up. Once again, all of the features for the Extranet have been constructed based on Engineering Surveys' unique project requirements.
Recently added is a customised and powerful Google Sitemap Generator to make keeping a dynamic sitemap up to date which Google uses to index the site's content on a regular basis.
